The Highlight Tour: BMW Welt-Museum-Plant Tour

From the past to the present of driving pleasure: take the BMW Welt-Museum-Plant Tour and experience the whole world of BMW, with highlights from the BMW Museum, fascinating glimpses of the BMW Group Plant, and the most important parts of BMW Welt.

The first stop of the BMW Welt-Museum-Plant Tour is the BMW Museum. Here, visitors are treated to a fascinating and innovative presentation of the BMW company, brand and product history. Discover 125 of the most valuable and attractive automobiles, motorcycles and engines spanning over 100 years of BMW Group history.

At the BMW Group Plant in Munich, visitors can watch live as passion and precision come together in the production of each individual vehicle. Follow the manufacturing process of a BMW car from the body shop to the paint shop.

The tour ends with a walkabout through the BMW Welt where you get insights into the building’s extraordinary architecture, the sophisticated vehicle collection area and the several exhibitions of BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW Motorrad.

Please note:

  • There are no tours of the plant on weekends, public holidays in Bavaria and production-related closing days.
  • This tour is offered in German (DE) and English (EN)
  • For safety reasons, the tour is only for children aged 6 and above.
  • Some sections of the tour are not wheelchair-accessible. Bookings should therefore not be made for wheelchair users

Typical Bavarian Cuisine at BMW Welt.
Bavarie. Brasserie.

In case you are hungry and need a little break, check out the Restaurant Bavarie, which combines a French brasserie with the finest regional Bavarian products. The name already says what customers can look forward to: international, contemporary dishes made from sustainably produced regional ingredients. Part of the Bavarie's overall concept is that it is run on green lines, and the theme of sustainability pervades all aspects of how the restaurant is run. In the modern room interior, whose basic architecture is first of all quite cool, a feel-good factor is fashioned from the interplay of wooden furnishings along with fabrics, plants, and a sophisticated lighting design. This makes it a popular and attractive meeting place in the evenings for business guests and tourists alike, as well as families and people who have come to pick up their vehicles.
